Strangways Road, Inman Valley Property

When Victor Harbor real estate photographer, Ange Giles, got the call to photograph an incredibly unique eco-friendly home in Inman Valley, she had no idea what to expect!

I wasn’t sure what to pack for the shoot because all I knew was that it was a recent build and quite incredible, so I took a chance and packed plenty of lighting equipment. I have photographed several homes in that area, including a vast million properly next door and knew lighting could be a challenge if native trees heavily sheltered the house.

Strangways Road, Inman Valley, is one of my favourite roads in Victor Harbor. It is 20 minutes out of the main township of Victor Harbor but feels like another world. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. There are several properties with horses and plenty of cattle, so the drive is very scenic. You are literally on top of the world by reaching this house, looking out over Victor Harbor. It is incredible!

The entire shoot took approximately two hours as I spent time with each room as I wanted the photos to look as natural as possible.
