Arabian Court, Hindmarsh Valley

I had no idea I was about to be transported back to the mountain of Colorado with this incredible home. Like Aspen ski lodge homes, a local builder built this beautiful property as his permanent residence. The interior feels like a log cabin, and the open fireplace was a delight to photograph.

The house was challenging to photograph as the ceiling was made of timber, which made using additional lighting tricky. In total, I spent over two hours on the property taking photos and then several hours in processing to get the colours right. It was dark inside, so care needed to be taken to avoid noise in the images.
